These are trying times

Have been cooped up for a week already and the government announces a lock-down of another 21 days.

I don't know but people seem to be enjoying this relaxed pace of life. Shall see what the future shall bring but for now I see a change.

I notice that the earth is somehow 'coming back' to life, birds are chirping and I would not be surprised if a deer walks into my garden someday!

Till then, hive on, as I might have gone totally insane if I didn't have something to do to pass time.

Till then, C ya.

I've heard that certain types of pollution are going down all over the world thanks to reduced activity. Like in Venice the notoriously unclean waters cleared up and fish are flourishing. In China air pollution is way down too since less people are driving.

However other kinds of pollution are up. Some beaches are getting littered with discarded masks that somehow make it into the ocean for instance.

Interesting times for sure.

Yup I did read about those, and I think it is a fine example of what we can expect, but in hindsight, it is the revelation that we were indeed screwing up the planet which is unsettling.

Hope things change and we start to care about our 'home' more.

Thanks for the comment!
