Nexus is a social network built on modern technologies that also integrates popular features of e-commerce and crowdfunding. The network primarily concentrates on privacy, control of settings, security and listening to the voice of the community. Nexus is a platform that is already available to the public to sign up and use on iOS, Android and the web.

SOCIAL -
Social aims to be the native cryptocurrency coin/token for Nexus. Social coins will be used throughout the Nexus marketplace and to buy and sell goods and services. Socials will also be used within the integrated Nexus ad platform. Impressions and clicks will be exchanged for Socials. These ads will be displayed within the user's news feed. The Nexus ad platform will aim to be a far more affordable advertising method than other networks.

Mo (Mohamad) brings his decades of experience as a backend developer with Microsoft technologies to the table. He has built a range of software applications, starting with online stock market platforms to fully integrated custom CRM systems. He also has experience in Solidity development and smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain, which makes him one of the important team members.

Nexus Social Market
Nexus hopes to target two major markets: social and e-commerce. Both markets are multibillion-dollar industries that are currently controlled by large corporations. Nexus, along with its Social coins, hopes to create a decentralized social network paired with an online marketplace and much more
Crowdfunding
The Nexus platform also incorporates crowdfunding posts and functionality, called “Funds”. Any user has the ability to create a fund post for a specific cause alongside an image, description, and goal. Other users on Nexus can then donate Socials to the fund post and have their name displayed as a donator to that post.
The fund posts are currently operational within Nexus. The donation functionality is not yet automated as it is waiting on the integration of Social coins to the Nexus platform. Fund posts will be operational at the same time as product posts.
Nexus has a ton of interesting future plans that is documented in their roadmap such as end-to-end message encryption, secure ERC20 compatible web wallet, instant access debit card, decentralized data and multimedia uploads, built in VPN access and Tor API integration. It’s quite obvious that Nexus, paired with its Social coins, will disrupt the social networking industry.
RE-DEVELOPMENT
Redeveloping the entire Nexus platform for speed, security and reliability, release new version of Nexus front-end, full front-end re-development in Angular 4, CI adaption for zero downtime on new releases, Open source front-end, Split back-end API from front-end project, Host multiple account logins without logging out, Continuously adding new features suggested by the users, Bidding system for purchasing in the marketplace etc.
ICO - INITIAL COIN OFFER
Most ICOs hold a majority of coins/tokens for their own keeping, along with giving 10% or more away for bounties or payment. The Nexus team will be holding zero coins to ensure that a large majority of the tokens in circulation have been acquired by real funds to provide a solid market capital foundation. A total of 95% of coins will be available for purchase during the entire ICO period. This will highly reduce the probability of a day one exchange dump that happens to most new tokens that hit the market.
pre-ICO began on the 28th of July 2017 and ran for 10 days until the 7th of August 2017. Socials were available during the pre-ICO with no maximum (besides hard cap) and no minimum. Their pre-ICO has an exclusive bonus rate of 850 SCL per 1 ETH for the entire period.The Social (SCL) pre-ICO ended, on the 7th of August. Their presale sold more than 12 times the set minimum they were aiming for over the entire ICO period.
The presale/pre-ICO for Socials (SCL) has come to an end. The main ICO is already started on the 17th of August and will run for exactly one month, or until the hard cap is hit.The platform has set a maximum cap of 50 million for SCL, out of which 47.5 million of them is being made available to the investors during the ICO.
Those taking part in the crowdsale can purchase these tokens by making ETH payment. There is a minimum crowdsale goal of 250,000 SCL in place, which if not attained will enforce refunds through a smart contract. On the first day of the ICO, the platform offers 750 SCL/ETH, then 700 SCL/ETH during the first week. Similarly, the platform will offer 650 SCL, 600 SCL, and 550 SCL per ETH during the second, third and the fourth weeks respectively.Once the payment towards the ICO is made, the coin distribution will be initiated instantly.
