How To Apply The Trivium & The Principle of Mentalism

in #sovereignty2 months ago (edited)

First of all, it is one of my goals here is to help us learn HOW to think again – not just what to think. If we all remember how to think again we will have a fighting chance in this war for our minds that we are in… hence, I am writing, using the Trivium – so that we can start using the Trivium again as a way to analyze information vs. letting machines do all our thinking work for us. Not a good idea since our enemy is programming the machines.

TRIVIUM METHOD OVERVIEW

Grammar – What is it? (Input, knowledge: Who, What, Where, When)

Logic – Why is it? (Understanding: Cause & Effect, contradictions, coherence)

Rhetoric – How do I express or apply it? (Wisdom, practical use, communication)

VERY short view:

. The Principle of Mentalism

"THE ALL is Mind; the Universe is Mental."

Grammar (What?)
Everything begins in the realm of consciousness. Reality is a mental projection. There is One Universal Mind (the All) and everything is a manifestation of it.

Logic (Why?)
This explains why thought can shape reality—because everything is fundamentally made of thought. It also explains how prayer, intention, magic, and visualization work. If reality is Mind-stuff, then your mind interacts with the foundational substance of all.

Rhetoric (How?)
You use this principle by consciously aligning your thoughts with what you want to manifest. You take responsibility for your inner world, knowing it has ripple effects on your outer one. You also avoid getting stuck in victim mentality—because you’re not separate from creation.

MENTALISM: The Thesis of the Principles of Natural Law
“The All is Mind; the Universe is Mental.”

GRAMMAR: What Is It?
Mentalism is the principle that everything begins in the mind. Not just our little thoughts—but THE MIND behind all things. We live in Mind. We move through Mind. And our own mind is a spark of that same Creative Force.

“THE ALL” isn’t an old gray-bearded dude on a cloud throwing lightning bolts at us —it’s the Infinite Consciousness that gives rise to everything from mountains and galaxies to memes and microwaves. We are both in THE ALL and of THE ALL.

Quantum tells us it and we are all made of particles with a lot of “space” in between.

LOGIC: How Does It Work?
If everything is mental in origin, that means thought is the root cause of the physical. This means:

You are not a victim of circumstances—you are the creator of them. (oversimplified)

The world you perceive is shaped by your mental patterns, beliefs, and focus.

To change your life, you must first change your mind.

It also means the “bad stuff” is still part of THE ALL. That doesn't mean we approve of it—but it does mean we can't fight it effectively by pretending it's outside of THE ALL. Consciousness is non-dual. Even fear, pain, and oppression are still manifestations of Mind—distorted, yes, but not separate.

Practice 1: Simple Mentalism Concentration
To reclaim your creative mental power, start small. Try this:

Pick a simple object: a flame, a shape, a seed.

Set a timer for 2 minutes.

Close your eyes and hold the image in your mind. If your mind wanders, bring it back without judgment.

Practice daily. You are re-building your mental muscle.

This is not optional. If you want to work with Mentalism, you must train your attention.

Practice 2: Meditation to Merge with The All
Sit quietly and soften your edges. Let your awareness expand until the boundaries between “you” and “the world” begin to blur. Feel the Aether—not just around you, but in you. Try sensing your connection even to things you don’t like:

The traffic jam? Part of THE ALL

That annoying neighbor? Yup - part of THE ALL

5G towers and nuclear missiles? Also expressions of MIND, just in entropy.

This is not about condoning. It’s about integrating.

RHETORIC: Why Does It Matter?
Mentalism is not a theory—it’s a lens. If you look through it, the world starts to make sense in a new way. You stop fighting symptoms and start shifting causes. You become magnetic, sovereign, responsible. Self-governing.

If your thoughts are the seedbed of your reality—then what are you planting?

But this is what you always hear - If we want to really use the Trivium to clarify Mentalism, we need to back up and ask:

What is thought?

Let’s use the Grammar stage to define it with greater precision—both in a mundane sense and in the esoteric framework of the Kybalion.

GRAMMAR: What Is Thought, Actually?

A thought is a mental image, idea, or sensation that arises in consciousness. That includes words, pictures, sounds, emotions, intuition or abstract knowing. And don’t forget the “I” and the “me” in “mental alchemy” – or “mental gender” as it is referred to in the Kybalion. Thought also includes: Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, Claircognizance, Clairalience, Clairgustance, Clairempathy, Clairtangency as well as Telepathy, Psychometry, Remote Viewing, Astral Projection, Levitation and Telekinisis.

But not all thoughts are the same. There’s a hierarchy:

Reactive thought: Emotional or habitual reactions (e.g., "I hate this!") (me) so this is “the root” – Survival.

Reflective thought: Conceptual reasoning and daydreaming (e.g., planning, analyzing, reasoning)

Directed thought: Intentionally focused attention (e.g., imagining, praying)

Pure thought: Non-verbal awareness, symbols, archetypes, and energetic impressions, answered prayer - inspiration (closer to the Universal Mind)

In Mentalism, when we say "THE ALL is Mind," we're not just talking about our personal monkey-mind. We're talking about The One Thought that underlies all. Hermetic teachings refer to it as:

“A conscious, living, infinite Intelligence which is the ground of all reality.”

So, in this model:

Your thoughts are micro-expressions of the Universal Mind.

What you hold in your field of attention influences what shows up in form—just like a lens shapes light.

Thought = the first movement of conscious will (Will-with prayer) before action or creation.

LOGIC: So What Does That Mean in Practice?
Most of us confuse mental noise with true thought. But true thought is creative, focused, and generative.

Mental noise – what is that? Is it even thoughts? It could be other spirits coming into our auric field influencing us from other dimensions, if we are not filling out our entire field ourselves- that’s something to contemplate. It may sound like it’s your “mind” or “your thoughts” just because you hear it so much, but what is it? and it may be in your “voice” in your head – but these days, especially – mental noise can come from all sorts of places, so best to get rid of it either through prayer, mantra, removing trapped emotions, etc. It should be critically examined as to what it is and where it came from and then tossed out, continuously. But it should not be distracted from and it should not followed.

The Universal Mind doesn't just “think” random stuff—it generates laws, rhythms, forms. It is patterning reality constantly. When we align with it through concentration and clarity, we begin to co-create consciously.

This also means:

If you don’t claim dominion over your thought life, someone else (TV, internet, subliminal messages, ads, trauma, programming) already has.

What you consistently hold in mind—images, emotions, symbols—is what your subconscious starts building into your reality.

Concentration – doesn’t it seem like “someone” might be trying to make sure we are not able to concentrate like we would need to in order to align with Natural Law?

Clarity, not intensity, is what the Universe responds to.

Now, on to the Connection: Thought ↔ Vibration
This is where Mentalism begins to melt into the second Principle—Vibration—and you start to feel that these Principles are more like facets of one jewel than isolated ideas.

All Thought Is Vibration.

Every thought has a frequency, shaped by its clarity, intensity, and emotional or intuitional charge.

This frequency radiates outward like ripples in the æther.

Your thoughts don’t just stay in your head. They imprint the subtle fields around you—and connect with other resonant fields.

So what’s the link? Vibration. All of these are different ways of using vibratory focus to either transmit, receive, or harmonize with information and energy.

When your mind is calm, centered, and focused (through meditation and deep concentration), your thoughts carry coherent vibrational signals—more likely to be effective or received.

Suggested Practice to Feel the Thought-Vibration Link:
Concentration Exercise:
(I always pray for help with this)

Pick a single image or symbol (e.g. a flame, a rose, an apple).

Hold it in your mind for 1 minute without deviation.

Observe the quality of your body and field. Does your breath shift? Your heartbeat? Subtle changes?

Now add emotion—love, reverence, joy—and repeat. And how do you do this? Think of a situation where you felt intense love. Or just breathe deeply into your heart chakra till you feel it filling with heat.

This is where Mentalism becomes alchemy (transmutation). You begin to entrain your own nervous system—and the surrounding field—with your intentional thought.

Practice Practice Practice

Once you know this - you kinda have to put it into practice every day for the rest of your life.
