Yesterday night, I arrived in Madrid, the city were I lived ( and that I loved ) during three months, back in 2009. It feels good to be back. Even though it's only temporary.
There's one thing I know for sure: I will stay here at least a week, probably a little longer. But, it looks like I will leave early to mid March, to move further south. Eventually I hope to end up in Portugal, where I see myself living in a little house, surrounded by nature, in the near future.
This post is merely meant to find out if there are any Steemians in Madrid who feel like meeting up/ hanging out with me in the coming days. I haven't met any so far (on Steemit or discord), perhaps because I write in English perhaps there are few of them. But, if you are a madrilenian - or a Steemian living or staying in Madrid these days - don't hesitate to get in touch with me. Or, if you know one of them, feel free to spread the word...
Y no te preocupes, hablo - y puedo escribir - español también. Viví unos meses en Salamanca (2007), Granada y Madrid (2009) y medio/ año en El Hierro, islas canarias (2016-17). Pues, si prefieres hablar español, no hay ningún problema ;>)

I love the Retiro too! I visited Madrid during the time that I was living in Malta. In Malta there are very few trees, so of course the Retiro was a paradise for me!
