What Exactly Is a Spaminator and Why Is It Targeting This Account!

I don't understand. This account (@bringitback) laid dormant for the past 3 years until recently. Life took over my time so crypto content had to be set aside. I get back on Steemit (yup) and find out there was a fork and that HIVE is now the in thing in crypto blogging. Cool. So I get my accounts all set up to Hive and start posting and interacting with the communities. All was well till a post was put out by @bringitback. First vote - a downvote. By Spaminator. 'What have I done?' I wonder. So I do a little research. I go back to when the account was active on Steemit and look back through about a dozen posts. It didn't take long to see it wasn't happening then. So it's a new thing. Maybe it was a fluke. Everybody makes mistakes, right? I let it slide by. It was only a downvote. Isolated incident. A whoopsie, if you will. Second post, same thing. And a third, a fourth, a fifth. All of them! Plus any comments I put out to others because I like what I see are getting HIT by the spaminator too! What am I doing? What is it doing? Why are we not getting along?
I do not plagiarize. I do not copy and paste. All of my art/photos are either mine or (with the exception of one little hiccup which was rectified immediately) downloaded from free source sites. It makes me feel some sort of way, like I'm a pariah in the HIVE community. I would really just like to gain a dialogue and I can't seem to find an avenue to do that so I just keep seeing that nasty little blight on all of my posts. Is there anybody out there who can point me in a direction that could resolve this for me? If I'm doing something wrong I have no idea what it is. If I'm not doing anything wrong then I would like to get out of spaminator's crosshairs. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Just an FYI - I found an old post from Steemit with a discord address for appeals to spaminator, but the address was inactive.
