On Family Day this year great and amazing things happened, I was working as I often do, and at the end of the day, I decided to encourage the members of the house to go out for ice cream, to get out of the routine, and take advantage of the excuse of Family Day. So everyone cheered up and we went to enjoy a delicious Barranquilla.
El día de la familia de este año pasaron cosas geniales y asombrosas, yo estuve trabajando como frecuentemente lo hago, y al final del día decidí animar a los miembros de la casa para que fuéramos a comer helado, para salir de la rutina y aprovechar la excusa del día de la familia. We went out to walk a few blocks before arriving at the ice cream shop and we noticed that the moon was beautiful, majestic, and impressive. So I couldn't help but take some pictures before entering McDonald's which is the place we chose to eat ice cream.
For a moment I thought it was a full moon, then I caught up, we were facing a beautiful possibility of seeing a lunar eclipse, with the effect of a red moon or blood moon. After I got home I distracted myself by playing some board games and then remembered to go out and look at the sky.

Por un momento pensé que era luna llena, luego me puse al día, estábamos ante una hermosa posibilidad de ver un eclipse lunar, con el efecto de una luna roja o luna sangrienta. Después de llegar a casa me distraje jugando algunos juegos de mesa y luego recordé salir a ver el cielo.
Trying to shoot the moon
It was midnight and here in Venezuela the moon was already hiding, the sky was beautiful and I did not hesitate to look for my camera and try to capture it, it was not easy, I do not know if it was the time without dedicating myself to capture a photograph of this style, or light pollution. I did what I could from the balcony with the zoom of my camera.
Although I did not manage to capture many pictures, I could see the moon up close and it was simply spectacular. We had a great and different night, my next door neighbor was also watching the moon and it was fun to spend all those hours watching the eclipse, trying to take pictures of the moon. We even ate some snacks in the process because the excitement and waiting I think makes you a little hungry, lol.
There were many epic moments, when the moon was hidden and the sky was dark, when the moon was red and then when it started to appear again. I could go on writing my emotions when I saw an eclipse after many years, it was something extremely exciting, and it is a natural phenomenon that I would like to see again soon. After a long night, we went to rest, it was a very different family day.

Llegó la media noche y aquí en Venezuela ya la luna estaba ocultándose, estaba hermoso el cielo y no dudé es buscar mi cámara e intentar capturarla, no se me hizo sencillo, no se si era el tiempo sin dedicarme a captar una fotografía de este estilo, o la contaminación lumínica. Hice lo que pude desde el balcón con el zoom de mi camera.
Aunque no logré captar muchas fotografías lograba ver la luna de cerca y era sencillamente espectacular. Pasamos una noche genial y diferente, mi vecina de al lado también se encontraba observando la luna y fue muy divertido estar todas esas horas viendo el eclipse, intentar tomarle fotografías a la luna. Incluso nos comimos unos snacks en el proceso porque la emoción y la espera creo que da algo de hambre, lol.
Fueron muchos momentos épicos, cuando la luna se ocultó y el cielo quedó oscuro, cuando al luna estuvo roja y luego cuando empezó a aparecer de nuevo. Podría seguir escribiendo mis emociones al ver un eclipse después de muchos años, fue algo sumamente emocionante, y es un fenómeno natural que me gustaría volver a ver pronto. Después de una larga noche nos fuimos a descansar, fue un día familiar muy diferente.
