Because I read about it and found it great.
What is Specialization in education?
Going deep into the some specific area of learning is called specialization in education.
Specialization has a very strong value.It gives an insight into the meaning of knowledge.
Significance of Specialization:-
These days education has become a very vast area.In olden times, every field of life was quite limited.
So it was easy for a scholar to know something about everything.During the past few centuries, a lot of progress has been made in every field of knowledge.The result is that now it is impossible for any learner to skim over a surface of variety of subjects.
Difference between Specialization and Non-Specialization:-
A non-specialized education like scattering seeds on the surface.
The result is that a few of them germinate, and they have no deep roots.On the other hand,
specialization is deep digging which enable knowledge to get a firm hold.
Advantages of Specialization in Education:-
Sir Richard Livingstone is of the view that specialization in education has a great advantages.
Major ends of education can be achieved through specialization.It proves very helpful in the training of intelligence.
By specialization, a student can learn to argue logically, to arrange his thought, to express himself,etc.
