I've also wondered this and believe there will be.
I had this discussion last night with @killerdragon24 and we chatted whether this may reduce the price of Olivia cards or not.
My perspective was that it could even improve the value.
For instance, when I perceived the value and use cases of certain abilities I was battling with in Splinterlands, I started searching on @peak-monsters (PeakMonsters.com) for all cards with said ability and was incentivized to buy older cards with the same type.
Perhaps any new card(s) with Mimic will bring new players to seek out Olivia's for sale. :D :D
