Intro

In der Splinterlands "Share your battle Challenge" geht es diesmal um den Kampf gut gegen Böse auf Leben und Tod. Dabei schauen wir uns den Carrion Shade etwas genauer an.

In Splinterland's "Share your battle Challenge", it's all about the fight of good against evil in life and death. We take a closer look at the Carrion Shade.

Details

Der Carrion Shade ist eine gewöhnliche Karte aus der Chaos Legion Edition. Mit Kosten von einem Mana, wir der Shade häufig als Lückenfüller eingesetzt.

Der Carrion Shade verursacht 1 Nahkampfschaden bei einer Geschwindigkeit von 2 und 2 Lebenspunkten. Wie viele 1 Mana Karten hat der Shade Level-Ups ohne Veränderung der Werte. Dies wird auch Ghostlevel genannt. Beim Carrion Shade sind dies die Level 2,4,6 und 8.

Auf Level 3 (Bronze) erhält er Flying als Fähigkeit. Dies erhöht seine Einsatzfähigkeit z.B. in Earthquake Spielen. Er eignet sich auch zur rückwertigen Absicherung der Formation, da er weniger getroffen wird.

Auf Level 5 (Silber) erhöht sich seine Geschwindigkeit. Ab Level 7 (Gold) erhöht sich der Nahkamnpfschaden.

Auf Level 9 und 10 (Diamant) erhöht sich erneut die Geschwindigkeit und die Lebenspunkte um 1.

Der Carrion Shade ist maximal ein Lückenfüller, der den ein oder anderen Schlag abfängt, die ansonsten wertvolle Kreaturen treffen würden.

The Carrion Shade is a common card from the Chaos Legion Edition. With a cost of one mana, the Shade is often used as a gap filler.

The Carrion Shade deals 1 melee damage at a speed of 2 and 2 health. Like many 1 mana cards, the Shade has level ups without changing stats. This is also called ghost level. For the Carrion Shade these are levels 2,4,6 and 8.

At level 3 (bronze) he gets Flying as an ability. This increases his ability to use e.g. in Earthquake games. He is also suitable for backward protection of the formation, because he is hit less.

At level 5 (silver) his speed increases. At level 7 (gold) the melee damage increases.

At level 9 and 10 (diamond), its speed increases again and its health increases by 1.

The Carrion Shade is at most a gap filler, intercepting the odd blow that would otherwise hit valuable creatures.

Die Idee hinter der Formation / The idea behind the formation

Das Gefecht lief unter den Bedingungen "Stampede" und "True Aim" bei 13 Mana. Damit ist sichergestellt, dass alle Nah- und Fernkampfangriffe treffen. Dies in Kombination mit wenig Mana spricht für eine Death Fromation mit Thaddius Brood.

The battle ran on Stampede and True Aim conditions at 13 mana. This ensures that all melee and ranged attacks hit. This in combination with low mana speaks for a Death Fromation with Thaddius Brood.

Das Cursed Wendeku ist der perfekte Tank für Gefechte mit wenig Mana aufgrund seiner Thorns Fähigkeit.

Der Undead Badger soll den Gegner von hinten aufrollen, während der Carrion Shade Schaden abfangen soll. Es wäre besser gewesen, den Shade und den Badger zu tauschen, auch wenn es in diesem Gefecht keinen Unterschied gemacht hätte.

The Cursed Wendeku is the perfect tank for low mana battles due to its Thorns ability.

The Undead Badger is meant to roll up the opponent from behind, while the Carrion Shade is meant to absorb damage. It would have been better to swap the Shade and Badger, even though it wouldn't have made a difference in this battle.

Battle Report

Mein Gegner setzt auf mehrere kleine Kreaturen. Das ist leider selten eine gute Taktik in Low Mana Battles. Gerade gegen ein Cursed Wendeku zieht man dann oft den Kürzeren.

My opponent relies on several small creatures. Unfortunately, this is rarely a good tactic in low mana battles. Especially against a Cursed Wendeku you often lose out.

Mein Badger wird von der gegnerischen Harpie erledigt, bevor er Schaden verursachen kann. Gleichzeitig zerstört mein Wendeku den gegnerischen Gargoya.

My Badger is finished off by the enemy Harpie before it can do any damage. At the same time, my Wendeku destroys the enemy Gargoya.

Runde 2 sorgt für keine Verluste. Allerdings verliert der Blinding Reflector seine Rüstung und den größten Teil seiner Lebenspunkte.

Round 2 does not result in any losses. However, the Blinding Reflector loses its armor and most of its health.

In erledigt der Wendeku den Blinding Reflector, während die Harpie nach ihrem Angriff an den Dornen des Wendeku verendet.

On turn 3, the Wendeku finishes off the Blinding Reflector, while the Harpy dies to the Wendeku's thorns after its attack.

In Runde 4 und 5 zerstört das Wendeku den Time-Mage und hat damit die gesamte gegnerische Formation im Alleingang erledigt. Der Carrion Shade hat leider überhaupt nicht in den Kampf eingegriffen.

In rounds 4 and 5, the Wendeku destroys the Time Mage, single-handedly finishing off the entire enemy formation. The Carrion Shade unfortunately did not intervene in the fight at all.

Für den Sieg erhalte ich knapp 1 DEC.

For the victory I receive just under 1 DEC.

Zusammenfassung / Summary

Der Carrion Shade kommt bei mir eigentlich immer zum Einsatz, wenn noch ein Mana übrig ist. Man darf nicht zu viel von ihm erwarten, aber die Flying Fähigkeit macht ihn zu einem der besseren 1 Mana Monster in der Chaos Legion Edition.

I actually use Carrion Shade whenever I have one mana left. Don't expect too much from it, but the Flying ability makes it one of the better 1 mana monsters in the Chaos Legion Edition.
