Splinterlands - An effective and powerful way to use the Sea Monster card in battle.

in #splinterlands2 years ago

Have you ever thought about winning a battle with practically only half of your opponent's mana spent? or better yet, beat the dreaded earth deck with obsidian in bronze without much effort? if you think that these 2 things are impossible then this post is for you because i will show them in practice coming true.

imag1.png

The team is made up of only 3 cards, 1 summoner and 2 monsters and there's not much secret about how to use them or position them but now that you've seen the battle I'm going to demonstrate, which team do you think will win? must be hard to believe that 2 cards beat 6 don't you think?

But before I talk about the battle let's talk a little bit about the cards.

imag13.png

The summoner is Kelya Frendul, her usefulness in this match is basically to give a shield to the allied team which increases the chances of victory as it will nullify 1 of the enemy team's physical attacks and often this makes a lot of difference in the match, in addition it also increases the agility of the cards (remembering that I got it level 2 because I use level 3 common cards).

imag12.png

Sea Monster is the team's tank and the reason I got you he level 3 is because at this level he has 9 health so the heal skill restores 3 health instead of 2 if it was at lower levels and also because he has 2 of agility.

Crustacean king is the support that will help the sea monster and the reason he is at level 3 is to have 1 ranged attack and this makes a huge difference in battles because it makes the sea monster not the only damage of the team and with the ability tank heal makes him restore 3 health from the sea monster (since he has 9 health).

One more thing before we go to battle, the cost of these 3 cards for rent is extremely low, something around 4 dec or even less so I think the value will not be a problem for you.

Now let's go to battle and you will understand why this combination is so strong.

In this part, as said before, it's a 2 vs 6 battle, and most of the enemy team is magic damage so the shield will only be useful a little further on.

Now that the Disintegrator has been defeated, the match becomes easier because it decreases the sea monster's damage and is also the highest physical damage of the enemy team.

Now there are only 3 cards left from the enemy team and as you can see the total damage of the 3 cards is 6 which is the equivalent of my team's healing, so this battle is already decided.

Regal peryton is the most boring card to deal with in this battle because he dodges a lot but doesn't have enough damage to win.

Okay, the result has been decided and if you thought a 2v6 battle would be difficult then I think this answers your question.

And if you do the sum you will notice that my 3 cards together (counting the summoner) add up to a total of 14 mana and the enemy team adds up to 25 so besides being at a disadvantage in numbers I didn't even need to use all the mana I could have used.

I think this is enough to prove the strength of this duo and if you still can't get out of bronze then this tip should help you. Until the next post.
