My Triumphant Return to Splinterlands in 2025: From Zero to Diamond in 4 Days (ES-EN)

I finally decided to return to Splinterlands after a year of absence to test my skills. I knew that many things might have changed, but my passion for the game remained intact. With a tight budget, I chose to play in Modern mode, which added an extra challenge to my comeback. I didn’t have high expectations, but to my surprise, in just four days, I reached the Diamond League. Here’s how this incredible experience unfolded.

Finalmente decidí regresar a Splinterlands después de un año de ausencia para poner a prueba mis habilidades. Sabía que muchas cosas podían haber cambiado, pero mi pasión por el juego seguía intacta. Con un presupuesto ajustado, opté por jugar en el modo Moderno, lo que añadía un desafío extra a mi regreso. No tenía grandes expectativas, pero para mi sorpresa, en solo cuatro días logré alcanzar la Liga Diamante. Aquí les cuento cómo fue esta increíble experiencia

DAY 1: BACK TO THE GAME

When I logged in, I noticed several changes in the game, but the essence remained the same. I checked my collection, made some adjustments, and started playing. By the end of the day, I had already reached the Silver League.

Al iniciar sesión, noté varios cambios en el juego, pero la esencia seguía siendo la misma. Revisé mi colección, hice algunos ajustes y comencé a jugar. Al final del día, ya había alcanzado la Liga Plata.

DAYS 2-3: THE ROAD TO GOLD

To keep progressing, I focused my matches on improving my performance with the collection I had available. I realized that my summoners were low-level, which limited my progress. To solve this, I decided to rent stronger summoners at affordable prices, which allowed me to face battles with a greater advantage.

DÍAS 2-3: CAMINO A ORO
Para seguir avanzando, enfoqué mis partidas en mejorar mi rendimiento con la colección que tenía disponible. Me di cuenta de que mis invocadores eran de nivel bajo, lo que limitaba mi progreso. Para solucionarlo, opté por alquilar invocadores más fuertes a precios accesibles, lo que me permitió enfrentarme con mayor ventaja en las batallas.

With a more balanced lineup and more effective strategies, I gradually climbed the rankings. Over these two days, I adjusted my approach in each battle, selecting my teams better based on the battle rules and opponents. This allowed me to advance steadily until I finally reached the Gold League.

Con una alineación más balanceada y estrategias más efectivas, fui escalando poco a poco en la clasificación. Durante estos dos días, ajusté mi enfoque en cada combate, eligiendo mejor mis equipos según las reglas de batalla y los oponentes. Esto me permitió avanzar de manera constante hasta finalmente alcanzar la Liga Oro.

DAY 4: THE FINAL PUSH

Reaching Diamond was not easy. At this stage, the pressure was felt in every match. I won and lost in equal measure, but I always managed to get more wins than losses. Each battle became more challenging, and adjusting my strategy in each encounter was key. With patience and determination, I reached Diamond just 20 minutes before the season ended. It was a great satisfaction, especially after so much time away from the game.

DÍA 4: EL EMPUJÓN FINAL
El camino a Diamante no fue sencillo. A estas alturas, la presión se sentía en cada partida. Ganaba y perdía en igual medida, pero siempre lograba sumar más victorias de las que dejaba atrás. Cada batalla se volvía más desafiante, y ajustar la estrategia en cada encuentro era clave. Con paciencia y determinación, logré alcanzar Diamante faltando apenas 20 minutos para que terminara la temporada. Fue una gran satisfacción, especialmente después de tanto tiempo sin jugar.
