Splinterlands Common Reward Card Giveaway Series Episode 3: Earth

What is this?

Hello everyone! Reward cards are my favorite thing about Splinterlands, so here I am to share the love and give away some monsters. To start, I'll be giving away one set of common reward cards for each Splinter, starting with Fire. Each day, someone will win a copy of the featured cards. At the end of the series, the entire set (currently 15 cards) will be featured, so stay tuned!

What can I win?

Today is Earth, which means Wood Nymph and Screeching Vulture. Just look at those green meanies!

What do I have to do?

To qualify, there are 2 conditions to satisfy:

1. You must leave a comment in reply to this post
2. You must have purchased a Splinterlands starter pack

That's it! Pretty simple. Any comment is fine, but if you're feeling creative, come up with alternative names for today's cards. There might be a bonus reward for my favorite answer. 😄

How do I win?

Approximately 24 hours after the creation of this post, one random winner will be selected from the valid contenders in a fair and reproducible manner. Basically, everyone will roll a random number. The highest number wins. Good luck!

The id, created, and author values of your comment will respectively be used as the data, key, and person parameters of the blake2s function. I will generate the salt beforehand and post the hash here. The resulting bytes will be converted into an integer, then reduced to a specific range (via modulo), which will also be posted.

Future changes

This system of giveaway is pretty dull, so I'm going to be spicing things up a bit. In the new system, each comment will increase everyone's odds of winning, so bring a friend. 😉
