| In der Gold League hatte ich heute richtig viel Glück. Mana Cap lag im Kampf bei 22, so dass nicht viele Große und richtig starke Monster eingesetzt werden konnten. Erschwert wurde diese Ausgangsbasis mit Broken Arrows, es durften also keine Fernangriffe genutzt werden und Taking Sides, so dass die neutralen Monster ebenfalls nicht zum Einsatz gebracht werden durften. Und die Splinter waren auf "Death" begrenzt, so dass die Auswahl wirklich eng war. | I was really lucky in the Gold League today. The mana cap in battle was 22, so not many big and really strong monsters could be used. This starting point was made more difficult with Broken Arrows, so no ranged attacks could be used and Taking Sides, which meant that the neutral monsters could not be used either. | Zuerst hatte ich mit dem Gedanken gespielt, mich auf die Angriffe mit Magie zu stürzen, da war die Auswahl allerdings sehr gering. Also entschied ich, in die vorderste Reihe den Bone Golem zu stellen, der intensiv gegen schwache Magie schützt. Für die hinteren Reihen konzentrierte ich mich dann auf Monster, die im Nahkampf zuerst die hintere Reihe des Gegners angreifen konnten. | At first I had toyed with the idea of going for the magic attacks, but there was very little choice. So I decided to put the Bone Golem in the front row, which provides intensive protection against weak magic. For the back rows, I then concentrated on monsters that could attack the opponent's back row first in close combat. |
| Wie sich herausstellte, war in diesem Fall die Strategie genau richtig. Da mein Gegner sich auf die Magie im Angriff konzentriert hatte, konnte ich diese mit meinem vordersten Monster gut abwehren und die hintere Reihe meines Gegners ausdünnen. Was selten gelingt: Meine Monster haben dadurch gar keinen Schaden davongetragen. Ein überwältigender Sieg. | As it turned out, the strategy was exactly right in this case. Since my opponent had concentrated on the magic in the attack, I was able to fend them off well with my foremost monster and thin out my opponent's back row. What rarely works is that my monsters didn't take any damage as a result. An overwhelming victory. |
