While I was happy to end the Season with a good amount of Champion level chests, the frustration during the second half as the ratings system worked against me was not fun at all. Losing all my progress in one game due to being consistently match with someone over 100 points below is horrible. It is now an RNG game about being on when the people at the same points as you are on and I am not liking it. I was within 30 points of the top Champion Division and each time I would lose 30 or more points or just win 10 points. Something has to change.

I continue to be surprised that my performance is still better than 50% despite not even being in the Top 100. I am starting to feel like I am an underperformer but know that it is still the new Rebellion cards that are still too purposeful in my selections. I see more talk about them not mixing well with Chaos Legion and I am beginning to believe it which is not good for the latest Edition.

Ups and Downs in tournaments continue but I do not complain as I am still net positive by a good amount. Lining my bag with more SPS is still good despite the price decline as of late. The tournaments are also becoming a good place to test my strategies with the new Rebellion cards.

Still looking for the elusive reward cards to get me a fully maxed set. I am actually starting to look at the possibility of also having an almost completely gold foil set soon which gets me thinking about my future decision on them. My land is currently needing more cards and DEC so this could be an area to get them but seems that it will come at a price which is not exciting.

SPS continues to accumulate although I am now starting to save some in liquid form as the burning action has become interesting. My need for DEC may cause me to act on some burning as well as it is a good utility for the token although I think better utility is yet to come.
A different tone from me this Season but it is because I am passionate about my experience in the ecosystem and want to keep coming back. I am thinking that the only reason I continue to play manually is to not have to share my SPS earnings and to get my full set of Soulbound reward cards; which means I could be at the end of playing as I complete the set soon and have plenty of SPS already. I trust the team will soon layout an enticing roadmap to have me thinking otherwise.

I've been enjoying the fresh gameplay so much recently, that despite the high price tag of 500 DEC/battle in champ, I've been buying some extra battles on the weekend to play and win more SPS/chests in high champ 2.
Last season was my best yet, making Champ 1 in wild and modern. So far this season, even with an extra few days, I'm languishing mid-table in Champ 2 with only 3 days left in the current season. I would hate for both sides of the account to start in Diamond 1 for the new season.
