Cerrone stepped into the octagon hoping to bounce back after 2 straight losses in the welterweight division. Many my self-included thought he would do it against hot prospect Darren TIll.
But that wasn't the case. The young gun Till took very little time in dispatching Cerrone in dramatic fashion. So whats next for the cowboy? Well first off I'm hoping Cerrone takes some time off after breaking his nose in this fight and being tkoed in two of his last three fights.
Losing three fights in a row in MMA is a big deal and a hard thing to overcome. He needs time off to heal and reevaluate his fight game, Another loss, especially another TKO loss will defiantly have people calling for him to retire.
Id like to see him drop back down to 155 where he can use his size advantage and be set with an opponent in which he is heavily favored to gain back some confidence. Which opponent should he fight at 155?
Ross Pearson, Pearson is struggling worse than Cerrone is right now and is on a Four fight losing streak. I feel Cerrone matches up well against Pearson and with a win can get him out of this slump he's in.
I don't think Cerrone is done yet in the UFC. I expect him to bounce back in his next fight. I just can't see him dropping four fights in a row.
Who do you think Cerrone should fight next? Thanks for reading!
