The German football federation (DFB) has taken a photo of Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has been criticized by the country's footballer Ozil and Elkey Gundogan.
Arsenal's Ozil in London and Gundogan of Mansiar took photos with the Turkish President on Sunday. These two midfielders are of Turkish origin. But it was born in Germany. They chose Germany for football.
Recognizing Erdogan as authoritarian, DFB chief Reinhard Greendale said, "It is not a good idea to take photos with Erdogan, who recently went to the autocratic position."
Turkey's elections in front of, mainly because of the German football chief's objection. He thinks the Turkish president can run election campaigns using the Ozilids.
His statement comes at a time when Germany is counting on Russia's World Cup announcement. Team coordinator Oliver says he will talk to two players about taking pictures.
He said, "I have no doubt about Ozil and Gudogan for playing for Germany." But they do not understand the meaning of this picture.
