THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN REVIEW, THROUGH THE EYES OF A CYNICAL EAGLES FAN

Sunday night I experience one of the most exciting moments in Philadelphia sports history-- UNDERDOGS, two weeks in a row...after the divisional rounds, our defense proved worthy, but the media wasn't buying it..

Vikings fans rolled up to to South Philly more confident than any team did all season. They were on top of the world, after a "miracle in Minneapolis". They stormed the stairs of the air museum with the "skohl" chant, claiming to take over the city. And after the first five minutes, things everything looked to be falling into place... The exposed our secondary right from the first drive. Part me wanted to pack it in right there an leave. It looked ugly, and I was concerned.

The play that changed the game caught me completely off guard. I think I was crushing the rest of my Bud Light (bottoms up) when the stadium exploded. I quickly looked to see what was transpiring and I see Patrick Robinson cutting across the field. I grabbed my brother and started jumping and down. Lincoln Financial field had never been that loud. EVER- Malcom Jenkins mentioned he "almost went deaf" during the play. That play sparked the biggest, most bad ass blow out in NFC Championship history!

I looked at my brother right after that play and said "the Viks might not score another point this game"

38 UNANSWERED POINTS!

The Vikings D folded up like a god damn lawn chair. The whole team did for that matter. They couldn't stop the run, they couldn't stop the pass. Nick Foles was dropping Dimes like it was 2013...

I'll admit there was a part of me that felt the Vikings could still make a comeback... But that Philadelphia Defense looked scarier than they ever had! The Viking were completely shook.

The 4th quarter at Lincoln Financial was like a god damn Dance Party...While the offense was draining clock on the field, the D was up on the sidelines, climbing the bleachers, dancing around while Meek Mill blasted throughout the stadium. The Dawgs were on top once again!!!!!! Jalen Mills was in the stands dancing with the fans. The party proceeded to streets and it was complete mayhem in South Philly!

As good as that night felt, as good as the Eagles looked. Everyone in Philadelphia knows the job is not finished. One more game. #flyEaglesfly
