Wayne Rooney is Manchester United Legend and he has unveiled his “best ever” world footballer in AS, a Spanish newspaper. He says it is Argentina and Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi.
In this season alone Messi has scored a total of 11 goals in 11 games for Barcelona and he does that magic playing behind the striker in a more deeper role.
When Rooney was in Old Trafford, he played in the Champions League against Messi and he has this to say about Messi, the Barca No. 10.
He has “a bit of everything”.
In showing praises on Messi, he says that Messi can score goals from even playing deep in the midfield. The Barcelona talisman continues to score goals from deep positions and that is why he is the best footballer ever.
Thank you Rooney, Lionel Messi is also my best ever.
