Hello guys, it’s a beautiful afternoon here in Nigeria, exactly 3.05pm,it’s a saturday but i still had to be at my workplace, you know in Nigeria we do not measure the rate of time one works hourly, but its measured with the number of days, at times i wish it could be the reverse, but it’s all good anyway.
FOLLOWING AND FOLLOWED BACK.
Meanwhile, though i had to work, i still had about 30 mins break and had to dive in here to say “hi”. Quickly i’ll be brushing through the issue of communication, following and being followed back here on this platform. Having noticed that most people have had issues of having a reasonable number of followers which has a huge effect to your reward on the platform. The number of followers you have determines how many eyes gets to see your contents, and if they are found worthy enough, you will likely get an upvote, the more reason older steemians keep pondering on the “great content” theory, don’t feel they are just blabbing or trying to lure you into wasting your time, those advice are all for a greater good.
About the eyes that gets to see your contents; for instance you had up to a thousand followers, ( like 1 do and still counting) your contents stands a greater chance of being viewed by a thousand eyes, and that will definitely fetch you a reasonable upvote. The same theory applies to those you follow.
Often times, i advice new steemians to take it up as a serious task within the first few weeks of their stay in steemit to be following, and not just to follow dormant accounts, instead, watch out for active accounts with updated post. With that strategy, you will also be opportuned to be followed back, you know the world of steemit is an organized society, such that whatever you put in is exactly what you make out of it, “Garbage in garbage out”.
COMMUNICATION.
This aspect of steemit is very vital, it’s apparently the fuel that keeps steemit steaming. You can not call yourself a successful steemian without a good interaction approach, if your not good at it, Learn, read something about it. The internet has served as a great source of information, google about it, articles can be found about it, in whatever form, just make sure you are reading something that will better your communication approach. With a good communication approach, i bet you steemit will be a lot more easier to live on.
With the various means of reaching out to people to startup a conversion, the word “boredom” should not be used to describe this platform, like i have heard from a few steemians. With that, i had to quantify using the many discord channels we have, which a few i will list at the bottom of this post, whatsapp groups, the comment sections, and even the steemit.com chat, the community is not at all boring but the steemian is bored of doing the needful.
Strike a conversion, be cautious and polite, you can even ask for a steemians discord handle and reach out to them. Ask intelligent questions that can lead to another profiting research, with these means, you keep yourself busy and might as well attract more followers to your blog.
FEW OF THE DISCORD CHANNELS AM ON.
