We are happy to announce that SportsTalkSocial.com is now listed on State of the Dapps. We are also very happy to report that not only have we already been listed but we are now listed within the top 500 dapps of their platform and continue to move up the chart!
In case you're not familiar, State of the DApps is a not-for-profit curated directory of decentralized applications which operate on several different blockchain projects. While State of the DApps was initially created to categorize and showcase developed projects built for the Ethereum Blockchain it added support the Steem blockchain earlier this year. Since that time they have now cataloged 81 submissions for the Steem chain including #sportstalk.
As one of the largest dapp catalogs there's a lot of users that can find out about our platform with the help of their site. That's because dapps are categorized on their site based on their similarity to other dapps. Now that we are listed we will show up when users begin researching other sports focused applications they might use. Even if they show up looking for something else they may end up joining us since they're already interested in sports!
To help grow our reach on their site we would be very honored if you jumped over to give our platform a review. It will go a long way towards helping other sports fans be able to find their home here! All you have to do is head over to the SportsTalkSocial page on State of the Dapps and click the smiley face below the question "Would you recommend this DApp to a friend?" After that just leave a short review and it will go a long way towards showcasing our community's strength compared to other similar dapps.
While there’s been lots of activity growing behind #sportstalk, we’ve done a poor job of communicating everything that’s happening behind the scenes. We’re looking to improve on that front and start having updates issued on a much more frequent timeframe. This week we’ll be looking to update everyone on the new ad placements, Brave verification, referee team and much more!
We've added a new sidebar menu, that's available when viewing SportsTalkSocial.com from a desktop, that will showcase the latest updates about the platform. We hope this will bring more eyeballs to the new announcements as they're released.
We'd also like to say a huge thank you to @julstamban for the page separators you see here. He's made a number of SPORTS focused dividers and pictures for anyone's use. He's even been making custom SPORTS themed footers to end your posts with as people request them. We love what you're doing and are thankful you're a part of our community!

Whoop whoop! Congrats on the listing :) Should we be creating any reviews for your stateofdapps profile? I know Oracle-D did a few requests for reviews of dapps and it then gets listed on the profile
I think that would be excellent! If anyone would want to post a comment showcasing their review then I'll be happy to leave an upvote for them.
When the founder of a project is very serious with it, there's no way people won't be interested in such a project.
I like the pace at which sportstalk is moving and I know we will soon have mass adoption with the way things are going. Please try to give constant updates to keep members hope high
