I Just Powered Up 30 Steem and Why Everyone Should Especially Newbies.(Tutorial Inside)

Most people might not be understanding the Power of Powering Up Steem
I will take my time to explain this words to newbies.I always love to teach stuff that i know to others!

What is Steem Power

I will quote the definition included in the Steemit welcome page.

STEEM Power - STEEM Power (abbreviated SP) is a measurement of how much influence a user has in the Steem network. The more STEEM Power a user holds, the more they can influence the value of posts and comments. STEEM Power is less liquid. If a user wishes to “Power Down” SP, they will receive equal distributions of the STEEM weekly, over a 13 week period.

You can find this definition here, i encourage you strongly to read all the info provided there so that you master Steemit.

I will now give my own understanding of Steem Power.

Steem Power are like shares you own on Steemit.

As you have read from the official definition of SP,it gives more influence to the person who ha more of it.

I guess some of you might be wondering why some people on Steemit earn more than others,its because they have more Steem Power!

Almost all the folks on the trending page have a big amount of Steem Power.
You might now be wondering how can one get this Steem Power thing? Great question

How do I get STEEM Power?

There are 2 ways you can do this.

1. Posting on Steemit and other related Steem Apps.

Whenever we post on Steemit we are paid in 2 form ie SBD AND SP as i will show you in this past payment of mine below.

You can also convert that earned SBD into cash or into SP which i will be explaining below.

2. Buy Steem Power from Exchanges.

Let me tell you now here that all those guys you see on the trending page of Steemit invested a massive amount of SP and its why they earn big! Just because joining Steemit is free,it doesn't mean you cannot invest in it.The easiest way to grow on Steemit is invest in Steem Power(as it gives you influence in the community).

Let me show an example of using @blocktrades to buy Steem Power.You can use any crypto to buy Steem Power,but for this case am using Bitcoin as an example as shown in the image below.

As you can see, it gives a massive SP and all that is massive influence on Steemit.

So giys if you have some money elsewhere and you want to grow rapidly on Steemit invest in it SP(this is not financial advice,consult your advicer before making any investment!)

How i Powered up 30 Steem to SP.

I will begin buy showing you my SP and show you the final value.

You can all clearly see its 311 SP .

1. Go to Your Wallet and go to your SBDs.

2. Click on Market.

This will take you to the internal market where i will see my SBDs for Steem.

As you can see,i have used 28 SBD to buy 30 Steem which i will be Powering Up.
You will be aaked to confirm transaction and even asked for your master password to approve the process.

3. Wait for a buyer of your SBDs

This always takes a short time as a buyer shows up immediately.My order was approved within a minute as you can see my Steem has increased and SBD reduced and SP still thr same!

4. Power Up The 30 Steem.

Now go to the part that has Steem and click on the drop-down menu and choose Power Up as shown below.

5. Click Power Up and this screen below will appear asking for the amount to Power Up.In my case,its 30.

This is a sensitive process, so you will be again asked for your master password and in just a few seconds you have Powered Up.

If you are so keen,you must have seen that my Steem Power has increased by 30.

I am now 30 SP more influential than you hehehe.

Go get some influence by Powering Up.

So Dang ....I have Powered 30 SP,you do not know how excited i am afyer doing this.My future with Steemit is getting brighter as i continue Powering Up.I want to make it a habbit to Power Up every week.
