RE: Testing Post Downvote Results - Downvote Pool Is Causing More Harm & Abuse Every Day!

in #steem6 years ago (edited)

How exactly is downvoting 'an essential part of steem'?

Have you viewed @exyle's video? If yes, then please tell me what there is defensive about a move that renders the entire platform into on big horrible joke. :-)

And @exyle appears to be very mild about this.

Sort:

Read the white paper. Without downvoting the abuse would be overwhelming and nobody would even bother to create a quality post. It has improved a lot since HF21/22.

I understand what point @exyle makes, but this softfork is not designed to set a new precedent. I doubt any witness would approve disabling accounts other than those owned by Steemit Inc and many have made that clear.

Steem will never be perfect, but I still believe it has potential. I'll keep doing what I think is right.

Have a nice day.

Now you sound like you don't have a clue yourselve..

As far as i know software i know that nothing is 'essential'

if something fails sucks is obsolete or just plain stupid then someone hacks it until it works

so may i use the word bullshit?

Freezing an account like that is just the very thing that should not have been possible.

THE
VERY
THING

If you have any sense of history you should know what that means. Now many people in here are still very young and are not very familiar what happened in the past. And i'm not that old myself.

.. the 'it will never be perfect' phrase is also a bit of a weak excuse. It is not about being perfect.

it is about not having utter bullshit (like senseless robo dawnvotes) that just make @justinsunsteemit 's newly acquired slot machine look shitty.

Enjoy the sunshine.
