I do not blog very actively (Yes-i-am-lazy-but-i-was-occupied-with-my-family-for-the-last-half-a year-absolutely-not-an-excuse)

A year ago, steemit was new and I was an early adopter. I was in steemit before the July payout.

And yes, i know steemit might get HAWT.

I also know that people are likely to do their research about steemit. And I guess their likely keyword is "steemit review".

A year ago, I wanted to share my experience as a steemit user.

So I wrote posts in my blog - My review of Steemit

I used "steemit review" as the keyword. And yes, I knew it a year ago, these 2 pair of keywords might become hot keywords once steemit become popular. And people might research to know more and understand steemit.

Many SEO experts have also more than once mentioned about steemit's advantage on Google page rank...

And as you can see indeed, when I searched for "steemit review", my post came after the steemit posts containing the keywords "steemit review".

This is because steemit domains are ranked higher in the google page ranks.

Nevertheless, my blog post came in third and is ranked FIRST among the non-steemit domains on the FIRST page.

And a year later today, i see a very interesting trend on my blog visiting my steemit review.

There are 302 unique page views in August 2016 after the payouts and it went down and suddenly the unique visits rose sharply in May.

For this interesting stats, i attribute this to the steem price. In fact, i think it plays a big part and naturally people want to research more about steemit and steem

Also, for a small time blogger who does not blog very often, I was surprised by the number of unique visits for my steemit review blog post as a landing page.

That being said, I do not know in the end, if the 1,444 visitors ever joined steemit after exiting my blog.
