Honestly feel the entire Crypto thing is a Kardashev Scale: Type 1 economy.
Michio Kaku already said the internet is a Type 1 phone system.
The reason I feel crypto is a Type 1 economy is that it answers the question that is asked about the future rather well. And the question is, "How will people earn a living when everything is automated?".
If you are into crypto, then your answer is, people will earn cryptocurrency on a blockchain that is related to them in some way.
That's how I also feel. There will be millions of jobs to transport all the old stuff to the Blockchain!
