I would say it's more 60% spammers and bots and 40% real people who like to interact. There is lot's of spam on steem.

Totally agree...those 1-2 word "comments" like wow...cool...Great.. and variuos smileys - all are totally useless. Not to mention abusive , usually plain SPAM
