If you look at the current market trends, and backwards analyze the hype from the upcoming features, you can come to a relatively easy prediction of the future for Steem.
SMT is going to be a game changer for crypto and blockchain community, as well as published media and the internet as a whole.
I had left steemit for a while, to pursue other venture. But with the new ideas, I think I will be back for a while.
I'm surprised the price isn't higher already but it did give me the chance to buy some more. I'll be happy if it reaches $10 in the next year but based on how some other cryptocurrencies have risen in the past year, that might be a bit pessimistic.
