Poloniex Still Has Disabled STEEM and SBD Wallets - Here's What We Can Do + Alternative Exchanges

Steemit users are now getting tired of their funds being stuck on Poloniex after the recent HF1, as Poloniex has apparently not been able to update its wallet yet, even though a week has gone by.

It seems as though the exchange has done this to several other cryptocurrencies as, for example, recently affected Bytecoin has had its wallet disabled for about a month now after its price surged and the possibility of a double spend attack was used by unknown bad actors.

To help get Steem wallets back on at Poloniex, I guess all we can do is tweet at them to show overwhelming demand for these. Poloniex is currently the largest exchange there is and this has been driving down Steem prices for a while now. We need it back up.

So if you're up to the task, tweet at them at https://twitter.com/poloniex - together we can make them assign engineers to take care of STEEM and SBD wallets!POLO.png

I know users who have funds in Poloniex can’t really get them out – and there’s nothing to do exechange to care about its users. But, after you get those out, here are exchanges I have never seen bother anyone:

  1. Changelly referral link | non referral
  2. Bittrex
  3. OpenLedger

There are other exchanges out there accepting Steem, some of them I don’t even know. Please note: contacting their support will only slow down the process, as they have in the past even disabled the troll box because of the overwhelming number of requests. Tweeting at them will make this public.

I start to not like them at all, I feel like they are doing it on purpose.

It kind of looks like they don't care, that's true

Very useful post.

I tweeted them to :)

Let's get them to react :)
