This can be done in two ways:
Make a fork and add new Operation. We will check your code and consider its inclusion in the next build.
Do not fork and wait until we develop such functionality ourselves. (It can take quite a time because the desired operation is beyond the scope of the planned support functions)
2.1. To speed up the process of adding you can send us an example of the jsonrpc request and response.
this isnt as far as i can tell in the scope of the steepshot application, steem busy esteem and a number of other apps can be used to accomplish this already, there is no need to build it again....
