@inventor16, It feels so good to be earning here at Steemit.com However, when big names like Warren Buffet warn us to rely on crypto currencies like Bitcoin, everything becomes doubtful. Do you really think one can do steeming on full time basis and it's a wise move?

I tend to agree, it is all about use cases. I think steemit is revolutionary compared to other social media out there and for me this is its golden egg. It has the potential to become a twitter and facebook rival.
As for all of these new cryptos it is hard to know which one to pick, there are just way too many of them to be able to do your due diligence on each and every one. Especially for new crypto investors and the general populace, they need something that is easy to use, reliable and something they can have faith in. All the hundreds, if not thousands, of coins dilute the market and make things much more confusing to the average joe and I think actually damage the up take of cryptos. Which is an utter shame because I think we are all looking for a way to become decentralised from the current state of affairs.

I'm really glad for being able to be in here now, I strongly believe in a short time all the efforts we are making in here will worth, for me one of my life dreams is to study in Japan, have to gather up to 20,000 $ in order to be able to get the student visa from Japan Imigration (I live in Brazil) I believe with heart that steemit you help me to achieve it!

Nice dream, I'm mostly doing this to get some extra $$ cash and also make some new friends. The friends that I have in Vegas are mostly acquaintances, rarely hang out with them.
Oh I see, this is a really good Idea, you can be sure you already have a friend Here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, if you travel here anytime you can call me to hang out in the city's Landmarks or drink and talk about random stuff o/

yeah government should probably making it easier to foreigners to come due to the economic crisis, I'm quite sure you will have no problem to get a visa to here lol
another great thing is that Spanish is very similar to Portuguese, so if for some reason you want to talk to someone who do not speak english in here, they might be able to understand your Spanish
That's good to know, I would like to learn both languages, but I will learn spanish first, and then maybe Russian 2nd, since I like Ukraine so much. :)
Learning languages is an amazing thing to do, I learned portuguease (obiviously XD) english, spanish and now I'm studying Japanese, maybe after that I will start German or Korean too \o/

@bubblybling there are a lot of new restaurants in the area, like a ton. It's still very undiscovered!
thanks for your market knowledge; I agree there is so much crap out there, pump and dump schemes. It all boils down to utility. Steem on. It's my 3 month doing this and I'm loving it! Hopefully it all doesn't crash one day lol.
What I love most about steem is I'm not handing my content over to someone else, and it's more easily monetized. Once view.ly is more robust I'll stop using youtube also.
I checked their website and saw that it's blockchain based as well but cant seem to find it on Coinmarketcap

Good to finally see your smiling face! I think Steem's biggest advantage is that it is providing another source of income for people just coming into the game without a huge knowledge of the cryptocurrency world. Yeah, there is a lot to dive into, but its rather easy just to get started and start blogging.
Good for you for thinking of giving up alcohol, not an easy thing to do in Las Vegas. It only makes you stand apart from the masses that much more (in a good way) and increases my respect for you. Thank you for taking the time to put yourself out there! Raises a bottle of M&M's, Cheers!

@inventor16 Congrats on going all in on Steem as you are correct there are not a lot of coins out there that really have a lot going on. I agree that there is no reason for Ethereum Classic to have the market cap that it does especially when there are plenty of other coins that exists that many could argue that have more of a purpose above and beyond Ethereum Classic. Keep doing what you are doing as I know that I do not get to reach out much but I'm watching in the background.

Great first video. Steemit is definitely not hype. It's such a useful platform that has a lot of competitive advantages.
Steem is one amazing service. I've been tryna get my family to get on it before it gets over populated but they're put off by the ridiculous password
The younger generation will not have such a big issues with this one. Chrome can store the password in password manager.
