Last week @Bittrex Started the campaign and asked its twitter followers to suggest which cryptocurrency everyone would like to see in the USD Market section in 2019? Several Steemians contributed to the campaign since the day one and supported STEEM-USD Pair or SBD-USD Pair. In this blog post we are going to showcase some of the statistics of this campaign and see how many tweets we managed to get in the past one week. We will also discuss why it is important for STEEM to have such a listing.

1. Steem has one of the biggest crypto communities out there with no. of account transacting daily over 40K. This doesn't include the active users who are just reading the content on Blockchain. So Daily Active user count is much higher.
2. On an average more than 500 accounts are created in the last 7 days.
3. STEEM is one of the top 50 cryptocurrencies on CoinMarket Cap and @Coingecko.
4. Steemit is the no. one DApp on @StateoftheDapps website. In total there are 50+ Dapps listed catering to different niches.

@Bittrex Exchange can target a new market segment if they launch STEEM-USD Crypto pair on its exchange. User onboarding on the blockchain will definitely get a huge boost and at the same time, more traffic on Bittrex from one of the strongest crypto group out there!
