Steemit Inc has certainly dropped hints about Resource Pools which seems to suggests that we’d be able to delegate/lease RC’s at some point in the future. Probably not much of a market for them now but if the number of users were to increase significantly after the rollout of SMT’s, there might be significant demand for RC’s.

This isn't an overnight plan but there is potential here for this to be huge. Powering up puts pressure on the market supply, powering down puts pressure on the RC supply. sellers support holders either way i think... :D
