Little SunFlower, A wild flowers

One day, I went around the yard, in the distance I saw something interesting in my eyes, I found a nice plant mound but rarely used. That is the flower ketul, the name given in general in Indonesia. These flowers are like sunflowers, but the size is much smaller. In the history of its development, this flower was first discovered in South Afrika and gradually arrived in Indonesia for the first time on the island of Java, and continues to spread to almost all of Indonesia.

In fact, the flower whose existence is regarded as a pest has various health benefits. Mostly by society it is used as a traditional herbal medicine.

In West Java, young leaves and shoots are chewed as a toothache remedy. The shoots that are drifted over the fire are used to accelerate the maturation of boils. In many places, especially in Java, young leaves are used as fresh vegetables.
