One month from today I found Steem and Steemit by looking at crypto videos on youtube. At first, I got really excited about Steem because it was a cryptocurrency that was already developed and had an actual use which actually is very cool. I signed up only to find out that you got put on a "list" and that it would take maybe 1-2 weeks for you to actually be verified and be able to use Steemit. Every day I want onto my email to see if I had been verified but nope not even after 3 and a half weeks I had been verified. I couldn't create another account because that is not possible so I went onto my mac and then tried to create another one to see if that one would be verified. And to my surprise, it was verified in only 1 day after the initial sign up. I was really happy that I finally would be able to use Steemit, Dtube, Busy and Dmania but I could not stop thinking about why in the hell this account only took 1 day and the first one never got verified. So when I got impatient and asked people who used steemit they all said that the list is very long and that it is gonna take time.
The "list" does not seem to exist and from what I am seeing its just random which account gets verified first and even if it is ever going to be verified at all.
