When I first joined steem a year ago I'll admit I was pretty much skeptical. I thought It's just another platform where you work and get rewarded very little.
I joined just when the whales were leaving and steem value took a big hit, but you the community managed to keep it alive, and flourishing.
Finally I am happy to believe there's a better alternative to sites like Facebook earning money off your content, leaving you with nothing in return.
So thanks a lot steem, steemians and let's make sure we get rid of money hungry ad-driven social platforms!
