Having gone through different answers over here, there are lot of comments stating that accounts with no posts are all bots. Many have stated that people have opened their accounts in here just to invest in STEEM (which I consider an ideal investor who believes in the potential of this cryptocurrency).
Now I am going to answer this question according to my own perspective or reasons why there are so less posts on my steemit blog.
I got introduced to steem blockchain and steemit about 12 months back. Now I don't consider myself a blogger nor do I have the photography skills to succeed on a Dapp like Steepshot, but I have invested myself in the platform as I am amazed by all the work done by the community using steem blockchain.
And I consider myself a good curator even though I know just by upvoting you can't earn a decent amount on the platform. But I know the feeling that an author gets when a manual curator upvotes or comments on your post instead of a bots irrespective of what your voting power is.
Also the major reason of not posting is not getting proper time or headspace to structure an article or story. I am a morning person and I tap into my consciousness at early mornings during which I have produced some of my best work.
But at the moment being a Production Supervisor I have a job that requires me to work in shifts and working in shifts, specially Night shift have its own challenges. You not only strive to excel in your work but also try to maintain a healthy work life balance and as writing is not my primary job I have failed (by procrastinating) to make any meaningful post on my blog.
So according to me there are several reasons why there are accounts with not a single post or relatively very less posts. Some people only like to upvote and comment now and then on others’ writings. While some have only invested money in the platform after opening their accounts because of their belief it will become mainstream and make them money. For some they don't consider this as their primary job and are here just to enjoy and get the pleasures of reading quality stories or other form of texts or get entertained by going through photos and videos of people who are more emotionally invested then they themselves are.
