Crowdwitness announcement - shutting down operations

Hello everyone. Amidst all this chaos, I'll try to be short.

Crowdwitness is shutting down all operations.

One of the reason is - OUR top 30 witnesses need every possible vote out there at the moment, even that might not be enough but at least it will send a message.

There is no need to go into details around all things that have happened, there are much better summaries and info about it on the chain.

I want to say MASSIVE THANKS to everyone who supported us!

18 Months ago many people have doubted in us, even we did doubt at ourselves - however, 2 Hardforks and 18 months later - we were running without missing a single block.

Our highest position was 58th but we were usually between 63-75 in the last 7-8 months.

For last couple of months, we were running on a negative budget, and it wasn't a problem - I have invested far more valuable time in steem and various projects - adding to that few bucks a month wouldn't make me stop the whole project and securing a chain and being a witness.

First missed block happened last night when exchanges decided to power up user's liquid STEEM and vote in 20 new witnesses who implemented their own softfrok
allowing steemit to take over the steem governance and play the chain police.

THANKS FOR ALL OF YOU WHO SUPPORTED CROWDMIND AND CROWDWITNESS PROJECT! WE WERE ON THE GREAT PATH!
