Which Features I Requested and Why?
At this point, I'm getting at least 100 comments per post. Many of them by very loyal followers and fans...more than anything I want to support them and help them get as much SP as possible. At this point, I'm at least 3 articles behind when it comes to upvoting the good comments in it.
So I have to partially automate my comment upvoting while keeping a close eye on people who would want to abuse it.
Feature 1: Knowing Who My Real Fans Are
Right now those fans are:

Which leads to the second feature...
Feature #2: Auto-Upvote on Comments
As I said, I don't want to miss an upvote on the comments of my fans while simultaneously prevent abuse. This is why I still review my comment section to make sure spammers and abusers are punished.
SteemAuto allows now for you and I to make a list of people we want to auto-upvote in our comment section!
How I will use this
For those of you who are my fans. I will manually curate a list of people that I consider "TRUE FANS".
My "TRUE FANS" are:
- Those who added themselves to my SteemAuto Fans
- Those of you who have a track record of being genuinely engaged commenters
I have systems in place to see if someone would abuse. If I get messages that could not be differentiated from a bot or comments that do not add to the discussion, I will take that account off the list and maybe even put on my auto-flag list. I don't want spammers in my comment section.
Rolling it out...
I'm testing this and I'm going to start with a 2% upvote for now.(about $1.20 or $7.80 after SBD conversion) As soon as I am sure that it's working well, I will up it to 4% ($2.40 or $15.60 after SBD conversion)
It may take a little bit of time for me to manually enter and review everyone on my fan list but I will try to get it done quickly. Sorry if you are not being automatically voted right away. There may also be bugs to be worked out on that feature...so please be patient.

For all who tried steemauto new feature a few hours ago: there was a little problem in comment upvoting section and now it is fixed.
He just took steemvoter to a whole new level @mahdiyari. You're gonna be the next bill gate man :D
Dude this is an amazing product. I just looked at the explainer video and I'm totally on board. I especially love the delay post feature as I'm usually asleep when everyone else is awake.

I did this for a long while before I delegated basically my entire stake to the minnow support project. I'm looking forward to building back some personal stake after a few more delegations in large part to reward my audience.
@aggroed, your services are impressive and i realy appreciate you for your positive support to community.
But unfortunately @mahdiyari is not getting much appreciation for his work which he deserves.
This is an efficient system but it detracts from the whole point of commenting. It should be to engage in discussion first and foremost, not simply to be rewarded for a comment that wasn't even read, and therefore didn't provide any real value. Yes I realise that a lot of Steemit is about social circles and loyalty of upvotes, but surely you shouldn't just automatically reward people. If Steemit is going to have a future this is exactly the kind of thing that will have to be avoided in my opinion

"SteemAuto" is no doubt wonderful feature you launched with thanks to its programmer @MahdiYari and now you helped the real workers. I try my best to get place in your steemauto fan list. Awesome idea @cryptoctopus ! I've just joined @SteemAuto and became your fan, haha. The automated voting would have been taken care of either way by the SteemVoter tool but meh ... and also followed your curation trail, if that helps.
As mentioned yesterday, I always followed your posts, and I enjoyed and found them useful every damn time. Thanks for your work, and I am glad to join your "fan base" (sounds silly, teenage girl-like) :))

It did - use SteemConnect it's secure, I've been using it to connect to different tools for months now :)

hope we are in ur good comenter list bcz we also in ur fan list and my thought on this is that u choose steem auto is good work bcz many of people i see dont read post and only coments and this tool is best for to seperate all of them good and abusers @cryptoctopus

I'm definitely becoming your fan. You are one of the earliest Steemit guys whom I found provide extremely useful content and not of those...."please follow me and I'll follow you back" kind of author. I'd say that your blog made me learn so much more about Steemit. Then again, I'm still fumbling about on the Steemauto platform. Doesn't really seem all that user friendly....

I'm not old enough here to be a true fan of anyone but I have recently read quite a few articles from @hitmeasap @fultimegeek and @taskmaster4450 in the last two days talking about the importance of comments.
If your that busy automation makes sense and I'm sure your true fans will appreciate it but don't forget the personal touch.

Tools like this improve Steemit for everyone involved. You curate a collection of loyal followers who know that their participation will be rewarded, and the comments section of all your posts becomes much higher quality.

What you are doing here is wonderful and I only hope that other Whales take a similar approach. You desire to help others succeed is the true spirit of Steemit. We do not need to be greedy...that is for the bankers.

Wow! Another day in STEEMIT and another thing I didn't know. Trying to keep on top of voting seems hard but I always try to vote at least 10 times a day.
I think I could do with SteemAuto as my account grows.

Set you up on Steemauto. I've been following you when I can ever since you started talking experimenting with SEO months ago. I may not comment on every post as the hours I can put in are limited, but always love the content you put out and the value you add to the Steemit community.

This is a good apps probably for dolphin and whales while we minnow will have no hard time reading through our 2-3 comments on our post lol.
It is great to see a lot of apps currently being build to make the ease of use in this platform.

With the flow of comments on each of your posts I could imagine how hard it would be to read all of them so I am only supporting this idea. Make Steem easier for yourself to be able to interact more with people.

A helpful feature to save time and effort. It is good an author like you always returns the favor to your loyal followers.
I still dont have many followers, but this is something to try on the future.
The best thing about what you are doing i that you try to filter the spam and shitposts.
This is what this platform is about. Reward people that make real good contributions, not only for steemit itself, but also for a better world in general.
The steemit system have a potential to weed out the bad and greedy people, because, if used correctly, the rewards will only go to those that have something to add in a discussion.
