Man originally was created for unlimited impact, configured for excellence, packaged for glory and loaded with potentials to do exploit. He was finally crowned with enormous spiritual energy to govern the earth and bring glory to his maker. It is crystal clear that God Almighty had an ultimate reason behind the creation of man as clearly shown in the scriptures (Gen 1: 26-30; 2: 15). Hence, everyone has got a genuine, pre-determined and sweat-less destiny to fulfill on earth. It was the 'unlimited power of change and impact' that the devil took from man at the fall and then, all divine expectations on him seemed futile and unrealistic. His chances and opportunity of fulfilling destiny seemed to have gone into oblivion. Thanks to God for the regenerative and redemptive work of Calvary that restored man and re-positioned him for 'unlimited impact’ in his world by creating a new opportunity for him
PART A: MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR OPPORTUNITY
source
Each day, time and season usually present a new and awesome opportunity for man to exercise his God-given dominion, become a master of the situation and to overcome evil.
It‘s very painful that most of such opportunities are lost due to man's inability to acknowledge timing as well as his carelessness. In making the very best out of your life and opportunities, the following are needed:
-The first and most important thing is for you to find your own path and purpose in life: 'When you give a man purpose; he will be committed; get him committed and he will be creative; ifcreative, he becomes productive; when productive, he becomes successful, and when outstandingly successful, he becomes impactful.
-Discover your potentials/energy/abilities, put them to positive usage and maximize them for kingdom advancement.
-In all your work and walk, identify a particular challenge/problem and prepare yourself as the solution knowing fully well that you are an answer to a question and a solution to a problem.
-Be ever ready to learn, unlearn and relearn. The illiterate ofthe let century is not one who didn't go to school but one who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn. Abraham Lincoln said 'I don't think much of any man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday'. Henry Ford equally said 'Anyone who stops learning is old, either at twenty or eighty, anyone who keeps learning stays young'.
-Make your passion your profession, then Work will become play. There is that which gives you exceedingjoy, go for such because only then can you get fulfillment
-Never run after success, pursue excellence and then, success will chase you earnestly
~Cultivate an excellent reading habit, knowing fully well that “You will be the same that you are this year in five years except for two things the books you read and the people you walk and work with'.
-Please know that your past and present experiences should never hinder your Strong Will to maximize your opportunities. May be you need to check the confession of the following sages which ofcourse never hindered them from excelling:
‘I was raped at the age of 9" Oprah Winfrey"
'I didn't even complete my University Education" Bill Gates
°In my Childhood days, I stitched shoes" Abraham Lincoln
'I Struggled Academically throughout elementary school" Ben Carson
'I used to serve tea at a shop to support my football training" LionelMessi
‘My teachers used to call me a failure“ Tony Blair
-I faced many rejections from Newspaper editors" Walt Disney
-I failed 10,000 times before breaking through” Thomas Edison
-I was jailed for preaching the gospel” John Bunyan
Making the most of your opportunities has little or nothing to do with where u are, but where u are going, it is not about who u are, but who u are going to be. Life is not about what you couldn't do so far, it's about WHAT YOU STILL CAN DO!
Every king was once a crying and helpless baby and every great building was oncea picture. It's not about where you are today but it's about where you will reach tomorrow.
