God is the creator of the world where he has patterned how everything will look like.
Everything we do in this life always has a sequence without a man and a woman coming together, there will be no production of babies. It also balls down to greatness, where without hardwork and diligence, there won't be greatness.
There is never a short cut to greatness, God is giver of wisdom where in the Bible, Deuteronomy 8:18 it says that God has given us the power to create wealth. Every wealth is wealth, but every wealth not from God doesn't last, it has terrible consequences behind it. God gives you wealth in peace while the devil gives you wealth in pain and agony, but however God will never give you greatness or wealth when you are lazy. There is a saying I have always heard even from my childhood "heaven helps those who help themselves". Whatever you want to achieve, work hard in christ and then your greatness is achieved.
Note, a notion should be cleared here, where people say that God delays in answering prayers. God has patterned everything that at the right time he will give you what you want, diligence is the key thing here. God will never want you to suffer but will give you what you deserve and not what you desire. You might be working hard to attain what you desire but have you prayed to get confirmation from God if that is what he desire for you?
Don't relent, be persistent, press on, be diligent and pray. Have a great time dear steemians.

Hardwork is not necessarily a criteria for success but even when success comes without working too hard, one might have shown diligence. God will always crown our efforts with success when we loyally follow him. Thanks for sharing.
Excellently written @bhenjosh! I think many Christians today have become lazy on the account that God can supply all their needs. They fail to work hard and then they complain that God has abandoned them, when things eventually go wrong. Thanks for writing on this today.

It is very pathetic to see how our world is becoming today, everyone wants to be rich overnight forgetting that success takes time. God gave man work in the beginning and expected man to work, He could have given man everything but decided to allow him to work hard and discover things for himself and to change his world. The formula for reaching success is amazing deligince hard work and God is perfect .some people apply only the first two leaving God outside the equation. Let's adapts the attitude of adding God in all equation

"Success belongs to those who are willing to work harder than anyone else", it's true but not entirely because you need a favour of God to succeed. As the Bible says in Psalm 127:1 that if the Lord does not build the house, the labourers labours in vain. So it takes the grace of God to succeed but hardwork pays
