Greetings dear community. Welcome once again to my blog. Today's topic is about desire.

The desire.

It is desire all that is driven by a need, it is also the final consequence of the action induced at origin by the variation of the medium.

Another term refers to the origin of a feeling. As we grow and develop, our senses are awakening and interacting with this great showcase of various things that the world has sold or tried to sell. This world of carnal desires, regardless of culture or philosophy, has been responsible for moving us away from the spiritual every day, these being the ones that will take us to a safe harbor, to a fuller life and to the presence of God.

The system of the world has tried to invade our senses through the market and its varied publicity, making us believe that if we do not acquire that product, we do not belong, we do not resemble or we are not that image that we want to sell.

The word of God speaks clearly to us that we should not be conformed to this century. It speaks of the coming century, which is already there, we are in that science of which Daniel spoke. Satan in his cunning machination has always been behind this whole market, seducing and distracting those whose light (JESUS) has not yet arrived.

They try to fill their deep void by giving priority to the desires of the flesh and killing the will of the Spirit, being left day by day dissatisfied and acquiring more objects of destruction for themselves.

1st of Peter 1; 14.
"As obedient children, do not conformed to the desires that you had before being in your ignorance."

Before knowing our Savior Jesus, we were lost in our ignorant way of life, we did not know the truth and we obeyed our flesh and false reason, now we see the world from the thought of God and we are guided by his Spirit, that of the truth. We must be clear that we are foreigners on this earth, the one who sanctifies himself sanctify himself every day more.

We have to understand that the current system of the world is bad and is under the control of satan. The true believer must be against the popular ways of life of this world and proclaim rather the eternal truths and the righteous standards of the Word of God, despise the bad and love the just.

1st of John 2; fifteen.
"Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. "

We have the dramatic example of Lot's wife who was warned not to turn to look at the world she left while fleeing the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, she did not obey and was converted into a statue of salt.

1st of John 2; 16
"Because everything in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastfulness of life, does not come from the Father but from the world."

The desire of the eyes refers to greed or sensual appetite for things that are attractive to the eye but forbidden to God, and even the desire to observe what gives sinful pleasure. At present, it includes the desire to be entertained with pornography, violence, impiety and immorality in the theater and on television or the internet, in movies and magazines.

The vainglory of life refers to the spirit of arrogance and self-sufficient independence that does not recognize God as Lord or His Word as the supreme authority. It is the spirit that exalts, glorifies and ascends as the center of life (the Ego).

1st of John 2; 17
"And the world passes away, and its desires but whoever does the will of God remains forever"

Galatians 5; 16
"I say, then: Walk in the Spirit, and do not satisfy the desires of the flesh."
There are several types of worldliness that surround the churches: greed, selfishness, convenience, humanistic ideas, political maneuvers of power, envy, hatred, revenge, bad words, impious diversions, seductive fashions, drugs, bad companies, etc.

Galatians 5; 17
"For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit; and the Spirit against the flesh; and these oppose each other, so that you do not do what you want. "

Our greatest desire must be to serve God and to continue to serve the church, to preserve our ministries and to use the gifts given by the Holy Spirit for the building of the work. Also the longing for the fruits of the Holy Spirit which are: love, peace, joy, temperance, meekness, patience, kindness, goodness, and faith; Against such things there is no law. Amen!
