Romans 11:33-34
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgments (His decisions)! And how untraceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways (His methods, His paths)!
For who has known the mind of the Lord and who has understood His thoughts, or who has [ever] been His counselor?(H)
God knows everything. God's prophecies years ago are coming to pass even in our generation. This shows that God knows the end from the beginning. From the time that sin was detected in Satan's thoughts until the time of the final victory over sin, God knows all. He has never had to make a change in His plans because He knows the thought and intents of all His creation. As the master builder, God set forth His plans and gave us the print in the precious Bible.
God's word foretold that Israel had to be completely scattered before the final gathering. The downfall of Rome had to take place before the revival of the Roman Empire. The church, which is the Bride of Christ, had to be born and completed after which the rapture ofthe church must take place for the wedding of the Bride in Heaven. The great tribulation is yet to come. All these events have to be completed before the second phase of Messiah's coming as King. God in His omniscience has a plan, which will be carried out completely as He has set forth in His word. The revelation of Jesus Christ, as seen in the last book of the Bible, should become a reality to us as we look forward to the literal fulfillment of His word. God's knowledge extends down the corridors of future time, thousands and thousands of years.
Romans 11:35-36
Or who has first given God anything that he might be paid back or that he could claim a recompense?
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. [For all things originate with Him and come from Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him be glory forever! Amen (so be it).
In this present age, God shows us through signs and wonders especially concerning Israel, who is returning to
their land, that what had been said regarding the regathering of Israel as His children, He will do. God did not create us to respond to His will as puppets, but gave us freedom to choose, a characteristics called
volition. However, God who knows all things knew before we were born the choices we would make.
God is the sum total ofall knowledge and wisdom and the knowledge we acquire as human beings stems from God. His judgment and ways are unsearchable.
When we say God is omniscient, we mean that he knows all that there is to know. There is nothing that is outside the scope of his conception, understanding, or attention. It's a privilege to be a servant of his.
