According to the English dictionary unrighteousness is to adhere to moral principles, thus unrighteousness from God's point of view implies failure to adhere to godly principles. From the verse above, it is clear that God does not want His children to be involved in unrighteousness. Unrighteousness as destroyed many homes, communities and nations. The desire to live outside of God has led many to destruction.
Unrighteousness characterized many faces of lives in our nation today even the Church Of God is not free from this evil disease. The requirement of God is not free from this evil disease. The requirement of God is righteousness within and without. The early church exhibits righteousness in their daily work with God and this made God to manifest His power in their lives and ministries. Enoch walked with God and God took him away from the corruption of this world.
It is unfortunate that the power of God is diminishing among the children of God and the power of the enemy is raging everywhere. Why?

The Bible requested us to seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness. Righteousness grant you acceptance in the sight of God. Unrighteousness makes a person a candidate of hell fire. God expects us to be righteous in all our dealings whether with God or man, in our offices, places of work, business, family , church of God etc, righteousness is required of us. Are you a righteous man or woman?
God hates unrighteousness; His favor is far from an unrighteous person. We are told that "the wicked flee when no man pursueth but the righteous are as bold as a lion.......Whoso ever causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit but the upright shall have good things in his possession.

Know that unrighteousness is a sin. All unrighteouness is a sin and sin leads to damnation .Confess your unriteousness before God and forsake it. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and Just to forgive us the sins as well as clean us from all unrighteousness.
Ask for the mercy of God
Turn away from every form of unrighteousness

This is a brilliant message, the unrighteous and the ungodly have no place in God's kingdoms, ungodliness are the things, the sins that are keeping us away from fellowships with God, the bible says sin is like a filthy rag, and it also says blessed is the man who walketh not in the ways of the ungodliness.
We must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers lest we ourselves become like them, but we must strive hard to do our best in getting them to the kingdom of God.
This is a splendid message, the indecent and the wicked have no place in God's kingdoms, corruption are the things, the wrongdoings that are fending off us from cooperations with God, the book of scriptures says sin resembles a soiled cloth, and it likewise says favored is the man who walketh not in the methods for the profaneness.
The righteous man inherits the kingdom and his word is bond because he inherits great favour from the Lord. Righteousness is a strong virtue which every believer must possess as only the righteous will enter heaven.
God is not mocked, every man's work would be rewarded. Both good and bad, the book of Roman's made the reward of the unrighteous very clear.

Its true for God hates sin and the wages of sin Rom 6:23a and by no means no unrighteous man will inherite the kingdom of God as they shown in 1cor 6:9-10
