Text:Ephesians 1:3

“…Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings…in Christ”

Yesterday we learnt that “blessed” means “to speak well of”. God has spoken well of you, God speaks well of you. You see, it doesn’t matter what people are saying right now; it doesn’t matter what the current circumstance around your life is saying; if it doesn’t agree with what God has declared concerning you it doesn’t matter, it will not prevail.

Notice Lamentations 3:37-38 “who is he that says and it comes to pass, when the Lord commanded it not?” Verse 38 “out of the mouth of the Lord proceedeth not evil and good”. God doesn’t speak well of you today and speak evil tomorrow; only humans do that. God has spoken well of you. You may even say “I have failed God many times”. He doesn’t change what He has already decreed concerning you, for a King doesn’t go back on His word.

What He has spoken is eternal; it cannot be changed by man or by circumstances. Someone may say “my life is a direct opposite of what God has spoken” He said “I am healed” but I am sick. Oh really? You are looking at the wrong thing, 2Corinthians 4:17-18, the sickness is for a moment…what God said concerning your healing is eternal; so fix your attention on that.

Take Action on the Word

There may be negative things in your life that have lingered. Now it seems God’s word has failed. You just learnt that God’s Word; what He has spoken concerning you is eternal.

So take your eyes off the pain and fix it on the Word and watch the pain and all negative things fade away. 2Corinthians 3:18.
