I have over 6,000 SP, so I think I should be OK there. Half is delegated, and not sure if that matters.
I just tried again and the message I got was, "KeyChain returned no error text." Is there anything that can be done to correct it?

Yes, it matters. You need ~ 5000 (effective) SP.
Ah... OK, thanks for that information. So basically, I can't create any accounts until I recall my delegations. It would be handy to have this kind of information posted where people can see it before they attempt to create new accounts. I can see people with 500 SP trying to create an account each time they earn another 100 SP just to see if it now works for them. They could save the frustration if they knew exactly what was needed.
