Not a problem. But did you know that italic (semantically ‘emphasis’) is read in a different voice by screen readers used by people with visual impairments? Same with ‘headings’ (titles and sub-titles), subtitles can be used to jump to the title - sort of an index - with such software.
Accessibility is why it matters. And, of course, also to respect the work of the designer. ;)
