This should become an industry standard for every bike out there. This would sabve thousands of life.
I hop there is a way to detach it quickly in case of oncoming traffic so that the rider does not get crushed.

I love bikes and i always wanted to have a motorcycle. But the safety problem on the motorcycle has always been the factor that prevented me. It's economic, enjoyable vehicle and it's also good for traffic. But as i said the safety problem is a big problem. The motorcycles are getting safer with this product and if i have one of this product i can think again about buy a motorcycle :)

A very good safety products for bike riders. The airbags seem to positioned really well because they wrap around the whole body as they inflate.
If this really works, I'm all for it. I don't ride motorcycles, but I've seen enough news reports about bike riders getting into serious and even fatal accidents while riding. You can never be too safe.

I also ride on motorcycle and this product adds security to the rider. Yeah it is so cool to have an airbag in a motorcycle. I always think of possible ways how to install an airbag to a motorcycle, until I saw this hunt.. It is cool. But, I cant stop looking at the GIF and the rider looks like a pop corn after it bump.. Certainly, this is a great initiative to invent that will save lives. But I wonder, how much people will use this. There are endless advertisements telling people to wear a helmet when riding a bike, and people still do not follow that. That too knowingly that most people die in accidents because of head injuries, and a helmet could have saved them.
I agree with you, if we give awareness then they use I think.
So many people leave their life for not wearing helmet also. For avoiding this we wear those.

Good hunt @lavanyalakshman Nowadays I see so many accident involving motocycles in the news. I even saw them happened in front of my eyes. I was like ..God they were so hopeless and chances of getting alive 50/50. With this airbag hopefully it'll save lifes of those motorcyclist.

I suggest this one to all drunk riders out there, it will save your lives dude. There's a high percentage that this AirBagForBike can extend our lives but what if, your opponent is a trailer truck , :) does this AirBag still can protect us ? or maybe depending on the situation ?
Hi @ lavanyalakshman, everything that drives driving safety is a good product.
This pillow is designed to be around the driver from all sides of the body.
That display on the video is at a relatively low collision speed, so the pillow arrives to form properly. And in that case the driver will be protected.
However, the most important behavior of the pillows is at high speeds.
Will it come nicely and whether the body will rotate with it.
But sure is yes when to be combined with a helmet, the weight of the injury will be smaller.
Every accident is different. so the actual results will be known (unfortunately) only after the actual accidents.-
Must be tried in practice ...

I have always said that the bumper of a motorcycle is our body since when driving a motorcycle without precaution we can crash and the mortality rate is 60% since we do not wear a safety belt. very good article to save motorized lives
