It's fun to work with this online open source program to create different fascinating dithering effects on photos.
This app is quite easy to understad and even if you are new, you only need a few minutes to figure it out.

Simple and useful to make dithering images. Some of my photos are very well mixed with dithering and look good. Also fun to play with it!
