Is anyone having a problem with account creation? I was lucky to sign up when I did, and now I've been singing the praises of Steemit to everyone that will listen. So now I have about 6 people from my office who have all signed up last week, done the verification, but the final email from Steemit doesn't come.
Does anyone know what's going on? Is this an issue with Steemit?
What about account creation via the command line? I have seen some tutorials, but haven't been able to get to the client to work (probably syntax errors).
Anyway, whats going on? Help us Steemit!
Anyone who is waiting to be approved (or anyone who knows anyone who's waiting to be approved) can DM me the emails they used to sign up on steemit.chat (same username: @andrarchy) and I will expedite their approval.

My girlfriend signed up and verified with mobile phone 2 days ago - still no sign of account activation either. She really want's to steemit but she can't! Guess your friends are not alone...

This has become a problem for me as well...
I tried setting up an account for my wife using her cell number and email... It's been over a week and she still hasn't been approved. She's already on the fence as it is when it comes to crypto-currency so this is making things extra tricky on the home front. I'm wondering if it's because I signed up using the same computer and wifi I used to set up this account. Regardless... It's sort of stripping the fun out of it all in my opinion... I wish this was improved upon... It sounds like you may be able to help us out... Is there anything we can do to get this sorted sooner rather than later? Help! :)
A friend of mine had the same issue... signed up three days ago. Still not verifyied. No idea what's going on..

They are going through manual verification by Steemit Inc - and it was a bit slow this last week because many of them were off at Consensus. Hopefully they'll get approved soon, and if they don't, I don't know what to tell ya :(
So the account creation is still not working. Is there anybody who has got a friends account working ?
