RE: Steemit Update: Leaving "Survive Mode" ... and Beta!

in #steemit5 years ago

Sorry if I'm addressing the question to a wrong person, but @elipowell seems to be the right one.

  1. Why there is still no WYSIWYG Editor, it's eliminating a vast majority of users
  2. Why there is such a lag for account creation and why it's not free? In real world, if you need to pay to join - it's almost certainly a scam. You need users, to boost the price of Steem, not 1 Steem to earn, not a dollar to earn
  3. Why it's impossible for people outside Steem to interact with the content? Make a guest account, make this place interactive
  4. Add some skins, some templates... You know how WP looks like. If Steemit wants to be The Blogging Platform, it must look like a blog
  5. You are supporting several communities - why? What are you getting in return? Are those communities doing well or not? How do you measure it
  6. You added banners - why? The users are not coherent, what can be sold to some people with some interests living somewhere? Isn't it better to profile (build the communities) around some type of content?
  7. Why don't you make some sort of strategic partnership? With Patreon, SkillShare, SqareSpace, GuruShots, whatever digital product with a strong base of users. You are printing Steem no matter what, just channel it into the right hands.

If you want some help for a radical change - I'm here. I have a lot of experience in what I'm doing and I have a lot of references to back up my claims.

Sorry for being pessimistic, but if it stays in this form - it will die off.
Just like pagers or telegraphs or VHS players. Obsolete tech.
