RE: Steemit.com and Nodes Operational

in #steemit5 years ago (edited)

We apologize for not communicating more. Part of the problem was that the incidents occurred over a holiday weekend which was at the end of a very long week for the team due to the initial halt followed by the delegation bug. Part of the problem was also of course that steemit.com was down. Which is why we did tweet from @steemit. So if you're not following us on Twitter, please do as it is a good way to disseminate information during incidents like these. These aren't intended as excuses, but explanations. We are always trying to improve all of our systems including communications, and we plan to learn from this incident and do better next time.

maybe add community communication members to the task force next time, people like @exyle would be perfect
